Welcome to the website of David Grimbleby, an eclectic artist based in the North West of England.

You can find out more about him and his previous exhibitions on the Biography page, and also see examples of his work on the Gallery page.

David's influences include Surrealism, particularly the range of techniques of Max Ernst, the later richsymbolic work of Alan Davie, Will McLean's totemic assemblages and the atmospheric landscape art of Caspar David Freidrich, Atkinson Grimshaw and Edward Hopper. The very English romantic work of Constable also remains an inspiration.

If you are interested in purchasing one of David's creations, exhibiting his work, or indeed just finding out more about him, please visit the Contact page.
